The Patrol Division is the largest and most visible of the department's three divisions. This division is responsible for the following: first response to calls for service, field reporting, police patrol, traffic enforcement, and accident investigation. These uniformed officer’s work to provide general law enforcement services for the City of Maxton. The patrol division is under the command of Sgt. Watkins and Sgt. Scott.
